ISLAMABAD, September 4, 2026: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has revealed details of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder’s instructions regarding protests against former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Speaking exclusively to ARY News programme 11th Hour, Gandapur said he met the PTI founder on October 1, 2024. After coming out of the meeting, he said that they would launch an offensive on October 4.
Gandapur said he reached D-Chowk on October 4, adding that the target given to him by the PTI founder was that Qazi Faez Isa would not remain there.
He said he was supposed to reach D-Chowk on October 4 and there was an agenda to block Qazi Faez Isa’s way.
According to Gandapur, the PTI founder told him that the system being created to bring Qazi Faez Isa had to be stopped.
Gandapur said the PTI founder asked him what he would do, to which he replied that pressure would have to be applied. He said the PTI founder then told him to do whatever was needed quickly.
He said party leaders told him on November 14, 2024, that an offensive had to be launched on November 24. Gandapur said he also reached there on November 24 for the party’s protest.
Gandapur said the person who delivered the message about Qazi Faez Isa to the PTI founder would also have been facilitated.
He said they reached D-Chowk after fighting for three days and everyone knew that Bushra Bibi was in the vehicle.
Gandapur said they continued fighting at D-Chowk until Bushra Bibi told them to stop.
“In the end, I was left with six vehicles and 10 to 12 people,” he said.
