Pakistan dispatches humanitarian assistance to Nepal

Islamabad: September 6, 2026: On the directions of Prime Minister of Pakistan, a 100-ton chartered cargo flight carrying humanitarian relief items, including family tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and essential medicines, departed from Islamabad International Airport for Kathmandu, Nepal.

The humanitarian assistance, coordinated by NDMA, is being provided for the flood-affected population of Nepal.

A send-off ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport, graced by Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik along with H.E. the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan and senior officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and senior officials from renowned humanitarian organizations of Pakistan.

The assistance reflects Government and people of Pakistan’s solidarity with the brotherly people of Nepal in this difficult time.
