KARACHI: Armed men killed a youth near Liaquatabad 10 in firing during a robbery incident at an LPG shop, police said on Sunday.
“Deceased Shahzad was working at an LPG shop when two unidentified motorbike riding armed men arrived at the shop,” police said.
Another youth Tayab 15 was also present at the shop with Shahzad. “The armed men entered in the shop and demanded motorbike from the youth,” police stated. “The youth refused the demand, the gunmen opened fire over resistance, and a bullet hit the head of the youth and killed him on the spot”.
Armed men fled with the motorbike of the victim along with snatching his mobile phone and cash, according to police. “The robbers left their motorbike while fleeing after robbery,” police said.
Police have taken the custody of motorcycle used by the snatchers during the robbery.
