The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed lower on Thursday, 10 September 2026, as the KSE-100 index dropped by 3,078.56 points, or 1.79 percent, to 168,865.04 from the previous close of 171,943.60.
The KSE-100 Index touched an intraday high of 171,945.84 points and a low of 168,471.78 points during the trading session.
Trading activity in PSX shows that shares worth Rs.27,016,289,182 were traded. A total of 628,673,961 shares were traded during the session, compared with 477,674,710 in the previous session.
During the trading session, 499 companies traded; out of which 406 companies declined, compared with 58 that advanced, while 35 remained unchanged.
Market capitalization stood at Rs. 18,854,690,413,798, down from Rs. 19,233,413,834,011in the previous session.
