Salaries are up with a new collective bargaining agreement and there are a handful of deals in the seven-figure range. The reigning champions, with reigning MVP A’ja Wilson, Las Vegas Aces, remain contenders.
The Atlanta Dream (who traded for Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky this summer), the New York Liberty and the Indiana Fever (who have been mostly healthy, after Caitlin Clark missed almost all of last season with an ankle injury suffered in a preseason game) join the Aces. The Liberty has been dealing with its own bundle of injuries, including Sabrina Ionescu.
