The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a temporary power shutdown on several feeders in Islamabad on Friday, 25 September 2026, as district development projects continue.
The electricity supply interruption is scheduled to take place from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is expected to last for up to four hours.
According to IESCO, the affected areas include: Punjab House, Bari Imam, Pir Sohawa, Saidpur, Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mahfooz Shaheed / Shehzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme, CDA Pump, and Other adjoining areas within the Islamabad Circle.
IESCO said the shutdown is intended to facilitate the timely completion of development projects being undertaken by the district administration.
The power company apologized to consumers for the temporary disruption and advised affected residents to make arrangements accordingly.
