The Ministry of Religious Affairs, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Board (NITB), has introduced the digital facility to streamline the medical certification process for intending pilgrims.
Pakistani pilgrims preparing for Hajj 2027 will now be able to submit their mandatory medical fitness certificates online through the Pak Hajj app and portal, authorities say.
Under the new system, pilgrims will need to download the prescribed medical form, have it completed and verified by a doctor registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), and upload the completed certificate through the Hajj Management System.
Pakistani nationals living overseas will be required to have the medical form completed and verified by a doctor in their country of residence. They can then upload the document under the Overseas Category on the online system.
The authorities said the submission of a medical fitness certificate is mandatory under Saudi Arab requirements for pilgrims travelling to perform Hajj.
Officials are advising intending pilgrims to complete the medical documentation and other online formalities in advance to avoid delays during the Hajj registration and preparation process.
Pilgrims have also been advised to download and use the Pak Hajj app to access the relevant services and complete their Hajj-related requirements digitally.
