LAHORE: The medical report of a foreigner allegedly subjected to sexual assault in Lahore has confirmed injuries and marks on her body, ARY News has obtained the report.
According to the medical report, pressure marks were found on the woman’s shoulder, while injuries were also observed on her knee. DNA samples were also collected from her body.
The report stated that marks found on specific parts of the woman’s body confirmed sexual assault.
Meanwhile, Shahdara police have detained six more people and handed them over to Defence C police for investigation.
Police said the detained individuals are close friends of the main suspects and had remained in contact with them. They are being questioned about the alleged gang rape and the main suspects.
According to police, the six individuals were detained with the help of mobile phone records and location data.
The medical team has also referred the Azerbaijani woman to a psychiatrist. The medical report stated that she was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
Police said the suspects allegedly threatened the woman during the assault by claiming to have high-level connections.
According to the report, the suspects who allegedly assaulted the woman are between 25 and 30 years old.
Earlier, 15 people were taken into custody on suspicion, while interrogation of suspected facilitators allegedly linked to the suspects was under way.
Police said they have recovered the vehicle allegedly used by the suspects. A white car was allegedly used to trap and take the woman, while the vehicle used in the incident is reportedly owned by alleged suspect Tanveer.
Police also detained family members of suspects Mohsin and Tanveer. The three people taken into custody are relatives of the suspects, according to police.
The suspects were detained from a private housing society within the limits of Sunder police station and from Defence.
The Crime Control Department (CCD), Operations and Investigation Police are taking part in efforts to arrest the suspects. Police raids are under way in different areas.
Police said Muskan and her accomplices are among the suspects who remain at large.
Police operations to arrest the main suspects are also under way in other cities.
