KARACHI: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi, ARY News reported.
The meeting focused on the prevailing political situation in the country, with the two sides exchanging views on the latest political developments.
Earlier this month, Mohsin Naqvi also held an important meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in London and reprotedly conveyed an important message to him.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Ramesh Kumar claimed that the party has nothing to worry about as long as Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is in contact.
“PPP faces no problem as long as Mohsin Naqvi is in contact, as President Asif Ali Zardari shares a very close relationship with him,” PPP MNA Ramesh Kumar was quoted as saying in an exclusive interview with ARY News.

Kumar admitted there is no doubt that the ‘powerful circles’ are unhappy with the PPP and added the party is not worried as long as Mohsin Naqvi is in contact.
Kumar described the relationship between President Zardari and Mohsin Naqvi as a strong one, suggesting that continued communication between Naqvi and the PPP would help maintain political stability.
The PPP lawmaker said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was currently operating under a sense of complacency, while the PPP had shown considerable flexibility in dealing with the prevailing political situation.
Naqvi, recently held meetings with Asif Ali Zardari, especially after the ‘system-reset’ debate.
