Xiaomi launched the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in China in August 2026. The company has now announced the launch date for the regular Redmi K100 and shared its design and some key specs.
Official promo images show the Redmi K100 in a “Firefly Green” color. The phone has a large rectangular camera module on the back with space for two cameras and features “Sound by Bose” branding.
The Redmi K100 will have a 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Xiaomi also confirmed a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and a 3,500Hz instant touch sampling rate.
Xiaomi’s new phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a flagship 3nm chip first released in 2024 and also used in the Redmi K90 (currently $548.33 on TradingShenzhen). It will also include a D2 gaming chip and come with HyperOS 4 software.
The flagship phone is set to launch in China on October 27, 2026. There is no word yet on an international release, but it may launch outside China under the Poco brand. For context, the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max were released internationally as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra.
