KARACHI: A traditional food street in Karachi’s Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society has been transformed into a modern food walk, which will be inaugurated on November 1, ARY News reported.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will formally inaugurate the food walk, which has been developed under the administration of Chanesar Town.
The revamped food walk will offer visitors a place to enjoy food and take evening walks in a more organised environment.
To provide a traffic-free environment for families and visitors, the entry of regular vehicles will remain completely closed within the food walk from 6pm to 2am.
The food walk will feature a variety of food options, including traditional Pakistani cuisine, barbecue, Chinese food, fast food, ice cream and shakes.
According to the Chanesar Town administration, the project aims to turn the area into a safe, quality and family-friendly recreational destination where residents can spend time with their families and friends.
