The Punjab Police has increased the educational stipend for autistic children of its employees from Rs.30,000 to Rs.75,000, following directives from the Inspector General of Punjab Police.
According to the officials, the increase in stipend is aimed at supporting the education and development of children with autism and providing them with better opportunities to pursue their studies.
Punjab Police said the welfare of its personnel and their families remains a priority. It added that initiatives such as the enhanced stipend are intended to help employees’ children access better educational and developmental opportunities.
