LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has announced the Batch-III of the CM Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Programme (Phase-II), inviting young graduates to join the initiative and contribute to climate and environmental sustainability.
The programme aims to provide aspiring “Climate Warriors” with practical exposure, professional training and mentorship in the field of climate action. According to the announcement, selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs60,000 for a period of three months.
The programme offers an automatic merit-based selection system, a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS), district-wise learning opportunities and UNCC Certification as an integral part of the internship. Participants will also have opportunities for EPA field offices exposure, EP&CCD’s Strategic Development, communication and climate policy units, along with a Capstone Project.
The programme also includes expert mentorship, while 50 per cent of seats are reserved for female students. A special quota has also been allocated for foreign graduates.
