Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed the trading session on Friday, 4 September 2026, on a positive note, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 399 points and settling at 175328 points, compared with 174929 points in the previous session on Thursday, 3 September 2026.
The KSE-100 Index touched an intraday high of 175418 points and a low of 174515 points, reflecting continued buying interest during the session.
Trading activity in PSX shows that shares worth Rs.32 billion were traded. A total of 871.2 million shares were traded during the session.
During the trading session in PSX, 569 companies traded. Of these, 235 companies’ shares closed higher, while the shares of 218 companies declined.
Market experts say the positive trend in international markets reinstates the confidence of investors.
