QUETTA: Security forces killed 11 terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan during operations in Balochistan’s Panjgur and Chagai districts, security sources said on Saturday.

The operations were conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 as security forces continued action against terrorists in different areas of the province.

According to security sources, five terrorists were killed during an operation in the Gwargo area of Panjgur district. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, security forces conducted operations in the Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai district, killing six terrorists.

A significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosive material was also recovered during the operations, according to the sources.

Security forces have continued operations against terrorists in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, with further clearance activities ongoing in the affected areas.

In an earlier development, security forces killed 10 terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khawarij in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 15 and 17, while six soldiers were killed, according to the military’s media wing.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

According to the ISPR, six terrorists were killed following an intense exchange of fire during the operation.
