The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has announced the results of the HSSC Part-I (11th Class) Annual-I Examination 2026.
The board said it had completed the evaluation process for examinations that began on 6 May 2026.

A total of 63,605 students appeared in the examination. Of these, 31,169 candidates passed all subjects, while 31,864 were promoted to the next stage.
The board said the overall pass and promotion rate was 99.10 percent.
A total of 3,209 candidates secured an A1 grade, while 8,666 obtained an A grade.
Female students recorded higher pass and promotion rates than male students among regular candidates. Regular female students achieved a rate of 99.51% and secured 2,099 A1 grades, while regular male students recorded a rate of 99.13% and obtained 1,074 A1 grades.
Performance varied considerably across subjects.
Mathematics recorded the lowest pass rate among the subjects listed. Of the 17,507 students who appeared for the paper, 7,301 passed, giving a pass rate of 41.70 percent.
General Mathematics had a pass rate of 50.39 percent, while Physics recorded 68.38 percent. Chemistry had a pass rate of 74.98 percent, Biology 77.89 percent, and Computer Science 77.34 percent.
The compulsory language subjects recorded higher pass rates. Urdu had a pass rate of 94.77 percent, while English stood at 87.51 percent.
The results show significant differences in performance across subjects, with mathematics recording substantially lower pass rates than the language and science subjects.
