KARACHI: A location for the construction of a new control tower at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport has been finalized, ARY News reported, citing sources.
Sources stated that the height of the new control tower has been set at 200 feet.
The existing control tower was built during the Second World War, and its structural height and effectiveness have declined over time.
The new control tower will facilitate safer and more timely takeoffs and landings for aircraft.
According to sources, the new tower will be constructed near the main entrance gate of the airport.
