Fawad Chaudhry urges further dialogue between Govt and PTI after deadlock

ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has termed agreement between the government and the PTI dialogue over 90 percent issues a major achievement.

He insisted in a statement that the matter related to the National Action Plan has been a complicated and sensitive issue, it will be better to holding direct talks with the Chief Minister and his team.

Former federal minister in PTI government said that it will be better that the chief minister being informed about the nature and the necessity of the cooperation.

“When the complicated political issues have been discussed in detail, this matter should also be discussed and decided,” Fawad Chaudhry further said.

He said that there are important, serious and complicated points and also there is the question of the lives of people.

“In prevailing situation, there is no wayout except to hold further and detailed discussions,” he stressed.

Negotiations between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) ended in a deadlock after the talks over the PTI’s planned Oct 4 march to Islamabad.

The government sources held the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and differences within the opposition ranks responsible for the collapse of the talks.
