American media star turned professional boxer Jake Paul has emerged from a 10-month break in action to announce his next opponent.
Just last year, Paul tasted defeat at the hands of former unified heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in a one-sided matchup but bounced back from his only defeat, suffering devastating KO and jaw injuries after just three rounds of combat.
Following double reconstructive surgery which took him out of the game, Paul is now back in the gym to return to boxing action and finally announce who he will face to return to the ring with.
And speaking on his social media platforms, the internet sensation revealed that he will be taking on former competitive kickboxing legend and recent professional mixed martial artist Cedric Doumbé in Dubai on 24 December.
Sharing the details of the super-fight, Paul left fans in the know of his plans to return to the ring as he announced a global press tour that will begin in Paris, before concluding at the Dubai Opera House.
It is a compelling test for the reigning influencer before his second professional loss against Joshua, with Doumbé holding a verifiable combat story with a combined record of 63-7-1 in professional kickboxing before making the move to MMA.
With a scheduled date of 24 December, buy tickets from 15 November and all eyes on the action, mixed martial arts fight fans will be sure to not miss Paul’s return.
