تفتیشی افسر انسپکٹر محمد امین نے عدالت سے استدعا کی کہ ملزم سے تفتیش کرنی ہے، ریمانڈ دیا جائے۔ عدالت نے ملزم کو عدالتی ریمانڈ پر جیل بھیج دیا۔
مقدمے کے مطابق ملزم نے جب فائرنگ کی اس وقت رکن قومی اسمبلی قادر پٹیل اپنے دفتر میں موجود تھے، ملزم کے خلاف بوٹ بیسن تھانے میں مقدمہ درج کیا گیا تھا۔
