Passport delivery counters at regional passport offices across Pakistan will remain open every Saturday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, according to a public notice issued by the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports.
The facility will remain available to citizens for two months.
Director General of Immigration & Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa has advised citizens to collect their ready passports at the earliest.
Those unable to visit passport offices during regular working hours can take advantage of the weekly Saturday facility.
The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports also warned that unclaimed passports remaining for more than six months will be disposed of in accordance with government policy.
