KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah has rejected a document circulating on social media regarding school timings, terming it fake and misleading.
The minister in a post on his Facebook account, said the document was being used to spread misleading information.
He clarified that the School Education Department Sindh would issue the official schedule for timings soon.
Sardar Shah urged the public and educational institutions to rely only on official announcements regarding timings.

On Tuesday, school timings in Sindh were reduced by an hour following complaints from female students.
Provincial Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah announced the reduction in Sindh schools during his speech at a ceremony marking International Teachers’ Day.
The minister shared that he had received complaints from female students about going hungry due to extended school hours.
School timings in the province had previously been extended by an hour to compensate for educational losses suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic and floods.
Sardar Shah announced that, in response to the students’ grievances, the additional hour has now been ended across the province.
