Saudi Crown Prince launches CEER’s new EXOBOT electric sedan and SUV

CEERs first electric vehicles EXOBOT sedan and SUV

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who also heads the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced EXOBOT on Monday, CEER’s flagship electric vehicle and Saudi Arabia’s national automotive brand.

This launch is a significant step in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build a modern automotive industry and grow its industrial base.

“The launch of CEER’s first vehicles represents another step forward in Saudi Arabia’s progression to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem,” the Crown Prince said.

“It further enables the automotive sector as a key driver of economic growth, through attracting investments, empowering national talent, and expanding the private sector’s role to further position Saudi Arabia to become a leading regional and global hub for this industry.”

The EXOBOT sedan and SUV are the first of seven models that CEER plans to launch in the next five years.

The lineup will include midsize and compact vehicles with various propulsion options to meet different customer needs.

The vehicles will be made at the CEER Manufacturing Complex (CMC), which is said to be the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East and among the most advanced worldwide.

The EXOBOT sedan and SUV were designed and engineered in Saudi Arabia. Their unique look is inspired by the country’s landscape and culture, and reflects the Kingdom’s future ambitions.

The vehicles were developed to meet global standards, as Saudi Arabia aims to become a stronger player in the international automotive industry.

By 2034, CEER is expected to add over SR30 billion ($8 billion) to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and more than SR80 billion ($21 billion) to the country’s trade balance, while creating many quality jobs both directly and indirectly.

PIF launched CEER in 2022 as Saudi Arabia’s first automotive brand. The goal is to develop the national industrial ecosystem, attract investment, create private sector opportunities, and boost the sector’s contribution to GDP.
