Lahore police have registered a case after a 20-year-old Azerbaijani woman was ‘subjected to gang rape’ in the Defence area of Lahore.
According to the FIR registered on the complaint of father of the Azerbaijani woman named Diana, who had arrived in Lahore a few days ago, she was allegedly lured by two unidentified women who took her to a cafe.
Three male acquaintances of the women were already present at the cafe, according to the complainant.
The suspects allegedly took the foreign national to a flat after spending some time at the cafe, where she was given a drugged substance before being sexually assaulted by three men.
According to the FIR, the suspects left the woman near the airport after the incident and fled the scene.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace and arrest the suspects.
Earlier in July, police arrested a suspect after a foreign woman alleged that she was sexually assaulted inside an apartment in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The incident took place in Defense Phase 6, a posh area of Karachi, where the obscene youth allegedly tried to rape a foreign woman in a flat.
The police of the concerned police station arrested the accused named Mehmood after registering a case on the complaint of the victim’s father.
The victim said that the incident took place on the night of July 17, when the accused came to drop her off at home. After allowing the accused to come inside the house, he tried to rape her, escaped on resisting and shouting.
