KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the biggest responsibility of those in power is to ensure justice and seek Allah’s pleasure, ARY News reported.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, Naqvi said people holding public offices have a great responsibility and must remain accountable to the public.
He said there is much discussion about expanding Pakistan’s IT companies, adding that he had also worked for an American company where employees had to work very hard.
Naqvi said it would take two to three years to develop a work routine in which employees might have to stay awake at night.
The interior minister said people should think about the country instead of political affiliations.
He said providing opportunities to young people was key to Pakistan’s bright future, adding that the government had extended considerable support to the IT sector over the past two to three years.
Naqvi said young people had to deliver for the country, while overseas Pakistanis should also work for their homeland.
