KARACHI: The construction of the alternative road to Natha Khan has entered its final phase, with Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab visiting the development site, ARY News reported.
Mayor Karachi was given a briefing on the project and reviewed the construction work on the alternative route to the Natha Khan Bridge.
Talking to the media, the Mayor stated that this is not just an alternative to the Natha Khan road, but a new connecting route from Gulistan-e-Jauhar to Shahra-e-Faisal.
He said that the residents of Gulistan-e-Jauhar will have direct access to Shahra-e-Faisal via the 2.25-kilometer-long road, which will also substantially improve traffic flow in the city.
The Mayor described the route as a game-changer, adding that the Chakor Nala is also being reconstructed.
He noted that the city’s problems and the miseries of its citizens are being addressed in the best way possible.
He claimed that they are in the field at all times to help end the difficulties of the people.
