The all-new Mercedes-Benz electric GLC has been named by the jury of the German Car of the Year (GCOTY) awards.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Nationales Automuseum – The Loh Collection.
The jury recognized the all-new electric GLC for its exceptionally well-rounded overall concept and its balanced and comfortable driving character.
The electric GLC is the latest version of Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling GLC model line, which is sold in markets around the world.
The company says the new electric model has been developed to retain the qualities associated with the GLC while adapting them for electric driving.
Mercedes-Benz says the vehicle has been designed with everyday use in mind, offering a spacious interior and combining exceptional long-distance comfort, impressive everyday practicality, and effortless usability; the electric GLC brings together premium refinement and genuine versatility.
David Perdomo Hollatz, Head of Market Operations Mercedes‑Benz Cars Germany, said the award recognized the company’s focus on comfort, safety and everyday usability.
