ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has successfully tested the indigenously developed extended-range version of the Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the military media wing, the weapon system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational equipment and is capable of engaging long-range targets with high precision and destructive capability, according to ISPR.
During the test, additional technical parameters of various subsystems incorporated to improve accuracy and enhance survivability were also validated.
Senior officers of the Pakistan Army, along with scientists and engineers from the missile development organisation, witnessed the test.
President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, and services chiefs expressed satisfaction over the successful test of the extended-range Fatah-4.
They appreciated the technical expertise, dedication and commitment of all those who contributed to achieving the milestone.
