Ugreen has released a budget-friendly external M.2 SSD enclosure. There are two versions, and one supports transfer speeds up to 20Gbps. The promotional material mentions USB 3.0 Gen 2 for this speed, but it should actually be USB 3.2 Gen 2×2.

The 10Gbps version uses USB 3.2 Gen 2, which matches its advertised speed. Other than that, both versions share the same features.

Both enclosures come with a built-in USB-C cable, making them easy to take with you. Ugreen also provides a Type-C to Type-A adapter, so you can use the enclosure with devices that lack a USB-C port.

Ugreen points out that the enclosure has an aluminum body, which keeps it lightweight and helps with heat dissipation. According to the promotional materials, installing an SSD is simple and only takes four steps.

The enclosure supports 2280, 2230, 2242, and 2260 M.2 SSDs, and you can install drives up to 8TB. It also features an indicator light, a modern design, and an adjustable clip on the braided Type-C cable.

On Amazon, the 10Gbps SSD enclosure costs $29.99, while the 20Gbps version usually sells for $39.99. Right now, the faster model is $34.99, making it a better deal than the slower one.
