PESHAWAR: In a major relief for daily-wage employees, the Capital Metropolitan Government Peshawar has decided to process their monthly salaries alongside those of regular government employees.
An official office order issued by the Capital Metropolitan Government has directed the relevant departments to ensure that salaries of daily-wage workers are processed every month in line with the regular employees’ payroll schedule.
Under the new arrangement, salary payments for daily-wage staff will be processed on the recommendations of the concerned principals, ensuring a more systematic payment mechanism.
The Director General has instructed the relevant principals, Finance Section and Establishment Assistant to ensure strict compliance with the directives.
The decision is expected to facilitate daily-wage employees by bringing their salary-processing schedule in line with that of permanent staff and addressing delays in monthly payments.
