QUETTA: Two trainee police officials died and six fell unconscious during two days in police training at Quetta Police Training College, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Four unconscious policemen shifted to hospital for medical attendance.
Sheikh Zaid Hospital administration has said that two under-training policemen died of heart attack.
“It is wrong to call the training college incidents as food-poisoning,” a police department spokesman has said.
He said the two policemen suffered heart attacks in two different days, ” A policeman from Sheerani, Samiullah, suffered the attack on November 05, while Zhob district’s Mirza Khan suffered cardiac attack on November 07,” spokesman said.
Police spokesman said that five trainee policemen were admitted to the hospital as precaution, owing to increased blood pressure, department official clarified.
