QUETTA: Security forces have killed 27 terrorists during operations under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in Balochistan’s Kardam Valley area of Mastung, security sources said.
According to security sources, the forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kardam Valley, killing 27 terrorists in two phases.
In the first phase of the operation, 15 terrorists were killed, while another 12 were eliminated during the second phase.
Security sources said local commander Yaser Parkani was also killed along with his associates during the operation.
A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was recovered from the hideouts of the killed terrorists, sources added.
Security forces are continuing a sanitisation operation in the area to ensure that no terrorists remain in the vicinity.
Security sources said the forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from Balochistan and will continue operations until the last terrorist is eliminated.
