It’s happening. From 4th September till 6th September, Packages Mall in Lahore is hosting a major gaming tournament, put together in collaboration with Baaz, and the lineup lives up to every bit of the hype.
Heading the roster is Ulsan, a two-time EWC champion, sharing the floor with Arslan Ash, the player who’s already made Pakistan’s name count on the world Tekken stage. They’re joined by Sin, AK, Rangchu, K Top, H Dope, Zubair, and a deep bench of other serious competitors, a lineup that wouldn’t look out of place at any major international event.
Four games are on the table across the three days: Tekken 8, EA FC 26, Fatal Fury, and Street Fighter 6. Whichever community you belong to, there’s a bracket built for you.
The competitive side isn’t the whole story, either. A cosplay meet and greet, plus a full cosplay walk and competition, runs alongside the matches, so if anime and cosplay culture is more your thing, there’s plenty here too.
The event floor itself is invite-only, but nobody watching from outside is missing out. Every match is being streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, and Tapmad, so you can catch the action from wherever you are.
And if you’re actually at Packages Mall this week, head to the ground floor, there’s a free gaming setup open to any visitor, running through 6th September, no invite needed.
