The trading session at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, 28 September 2026, the first working day of the week, closed at 170,425.62, as the benchmark KSE-100 Index fell by 339.60 points, or 0.20 percent, according to data provided by the PSX.
The index had closed at 170,765.22 in the previous session. During the day, it reached a high of 171,126.52 and a low of 170,120.50.
Trading activity also weakened. Regular-market turnover stood at 421,015,660 million shares, compared with nearly 482,758,737 million shares in the previous trading session.
The value of shares traded fell to Rs. 17,736,266,798, from Rs.19,283,841,832 previously.
Market capitalization on the regular market stood at about Rs. 18,961,539,861,362, down from Rs. 18,996,437,325,600 in the previous session.
Of the companies traded in the ready market, 181 recorded gains, while 267 declined and 48 remained unchanged, according to PSX data.
