Judicial commission issues contact details for public

KARACHI: The Judicial Commission investigating the Mir Raza Ali case has released a WhatsApp number and email address to facilitate communication with members of the public.

According to the commission, citizens can provide any information related to the Mir Raza case directly to the Judicial Commission.

The commission said citizens can contact it via WhatsApp at 0321-3850899.

Members of the public can also share information with the commission via email at [email protected].

The Judicial Commission urged anyone having relevant information about the case to come forward and share it with the commission.

The commission, headed by Sindh High Court Justice Umar Sial, decided during its proceedings on Friday, 28 August 2026, that advertisements would be published in newspapers inviting members of the public to come forward with information.

An official email address and WhatsApp number would also be issued for people wishing to contact the commission.

Justice Omar Sial said the appeal was intended to encourage anyone with information about Mir Raza’s death to come forward. A reward of Rs100,000 would be given for information considered significant to the investigation.

The commission also ordered that notices be placed at the location where Mir Raza’s body was found, in the hope that eyewitnesses or others with relevant information would contact the panel.

Mir Raza was reported missing on 28 July. His body was found the following day in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi.
