PINDI BHATIAN: In a tragic incident, a son murdered his stepmother and her two children in Pindi Bhatian on Monday over a family dispute, ARY News reported.

According to police, the incident occurred in the Farooq-e-Azam Mohallah of Sukhekhi Mandi in Pindi Bhatian, where 22-year-old Abu Tajana shot dead his stepmother and her two children.

Police identified the victims as 40-year-old Nazeran Bibi, 9-year-old Chand Hassan, and 8-year-old Harsam Fatima.

The suspect fled the scene following the shooting. Authorities added that the motive behind the killings stemmed from an ongoing family dispute.

Earlier, dead bodies of a couple, went to farmland for grass cutting, found near Jhirk in Thatta district, police said.

Dead bodies of a farm hand Ramesh Kolhi and his wife have been found, police said. “Ramesh Kolhi’s dead body was found hanging with a tree,” according to police.

Officials said that the couple went in the evening for removing grass from the farmland.

Police inquiring into the nature and motive behind the incident to resolve the mystery of deaths.
