Seasoned mountaineer Syed Ali Shah’s body was at long last recovered from a height of 5,200 meters on Falak Sar, the highest peak in the Kalam Valley in Swat, after a long-lasting 54-day rescue effort.
After successfully reaching the top of Falak Sar, Syed Ali Shah Mian passed away in a mountaineering mishap on July 11 while descending the peak.
After several days of a thorough search in the challenging mountainous terrain, his body was found.
The body was recovered and transported to the base camp by the rescue crew in spite of difficult circumstances and inclement weather.
It is sadly unfortunate that it is impossible to deliver the body due to severe weather conditions.
Despite the challenging terrain and persistent weather issues, the team is currently carrying the body on foot and attempting to transport it to Kalam.
It is pertinently essential to note that Syed Ali Shah Mian was an experienced mountaineer who had successfully summited Falak Sar and several other peaks on multiple occasions, proudly hoisting the Pakistani flag at their summits.
